Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola is a good sport. She graciously accepted the criticisms about the words she mispronounced as host of the UAAP Cheer Dance Competition on Sunday, September 14.
Jessy mispronounced the word “plaques” as “pleyks.” She was also quoted as saying “without further adieu.”
“Good morning. Mahal ko kayo kahit ayaw niyo sakin "pleyks" man.” Jessy posted on her Instagram account, after the cheer dance competition won by National University.
Jessy posted a quote, which said, “There’s no need to be perfect to inspire others. Let people get inspired by how you deal with your imperfections.”
After her hosting stint, Jessy took to Twitter and said “Nobody’s perfect after all.”
Despite everything, Jessy enjoyed hosting the competition for the second time. The actress' supporters also asked her critics to stop putting her down.
