MANILA, Philippines—A 40-year old female overseas Filipino worker (OFW) died after falling from the balcony of her third floor apartment in Al Mureija, Sharjah in United Arab Emirates on Sunday morning, a report said.
According to a report from Gulf News, the police went to the crime scene at around 3:40 a.m. after receiving reports that a woman fell to the ground.
The victim was only identified with her initials “MWD,” the report said.
Authorities have already conducted an autopsy of the body and a full investigation on the case is underway.
